Silver Hollow Audio is a marriage of true minds. In 2005, Brett and Rebecca Barry built a professional, broadcast-quality studio in Chichester, New York, to accommodate Brett's career as a voice-over performer. Rebecca is a bibliophile who has worked with books for a decade – in a publishing house, in a library, and as a freelance book reviewer. She continues to write articles and essays for numerous magazines.

Audiobooks offered the perfect opportunity for Brett and Rebecca to combine and utilize their talents. Silver Hollow Audio publishes audiobooks about the journey and the places where nature, travel and history intersect. We aim to produce audiobooks that focus on destinations, so that travelers can pack up their cars, pop in the CD or hook up their mp3 player, and listen to an exciting and educating narrative along the way. We envision our books as travel companions, ensuring that getting there will be (at least) half the fun.

Silver Hollow Audio launched its first title, Henry Beston's The Outermost House , in June, 2007.
